Enterprise Risk Associate

The Enterprise Risk Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the Legal, Compliance, and Governance team, as well as the wider Business Operations team. Key responsibilities include regulatory reporting, third-party management, maintenance of the risk register, and conducting necessary anti-money laundering checks.

This role requires a confident, self-motivated individual who can work autonomously, collaborate effectively with global team members, and ensure successful contributions and fulfilment of responsibilities.

Key qualifications and experience required:

  1. Fully Qualified Accountant (i.e., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA)
  2. Min. of 3 years' experience working in a finance team or internal audit team
  3. Background in Banking or Asset Management is highly preferred
  4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages

Key duties of the Enterprise Risk Associate:

  1. Oversee Third-Party/Vendor Management process and act as SME for relationship owners
  2. Ensure centralised tracking of all vendors and compliance with policies and procedures
  3. Support implementation of group-wide third-party risk management system
  4. Prepare firm-wide quarterly risk monitoring reports and review fund-level risk reports
  5. Maintain risk register, update it with new risks and document mitigation plans
  6. Assist in onboarding relevant departments to the group-wide risk management system
  7. Track all risk activities in accordance with group policies
  8. Regulatory reporting activities as required by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (full training provided)
  9. Assist Compliance team with anti-money laundering data and checks
  10. Support ad hoc projects across the Business Operations team as needed

Key personal skills:

  1. Integrates well into a team, develops relationships with others even in a remote environment, and communicates excellently both in written and oral forms
  2. Demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude, takes ownership and accountability for tasks
  3. Quick learner who works independently with appropriate oversight, possesses strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
