Our client, HR Genie, is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to lead financial management operations across multiple manufacturing plants and joint ventures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end financial performance, consolidate monthly financial results, and assess the impact of cost or commodity changes.
  • Lead the development of budgeting, forecasting, and business case strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Implement and enhance business reporting processes, control systems, and management information strategies to support operational excellence.
  • Drive standardization and automation of reporting formats, schedules, and dashboards to improve efficiency.
  • Manage cost optimization programs, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities to enhance the company's bottom line.
  • Enforce financial controls, IT policies, and material control procedures in line with corporate governance standards.
  • Ensure effective governance of stock management, assessing deviations and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Oversee asset management, including the maintenance of physical and fixed assets, monitoring stock conversion cycles, and managing capital approval processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, representing financial results and strategies, and building effective networks across the organization.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring that team members are supported, coached, and developed to achieve their full potential.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and present financial data at a senior level.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills for effective decision-making.
  • Solid business acumen, with a focus on process improvements and driving operational excellence.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and SAP, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure.
  • Strategic and tactical leadership skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, including people management.
  • Strong experience with SAP and financial operations in a supply chain or FMCG environment.
Qualifications:
  • BCom Accounting Degree (CA(SA) or CIMA certification is advantageous).
