Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to support our Head Pastry Chef in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, experience with procurement, and formal education. This role requires exceptional communication, time management skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and organizational support to the Head Pastry Chef, manage scheduling, appointments, and travel arrangements, handle communications, and assist with procurement of ingredients, equipment, and supplies for the pastry section.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to the Head Pastry Chef
  2. Managing scheduling, appointments, and travel arrangements
  3. Handling communications, including emails and phone calls, on behalf of the Head Pastry Chef
  4. Assisting with procurement of ingredients, equipment, and supplies for the pastry section

Key Requirements

  • Formal Education: A degree or qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is essential
  • Hospitality Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Procurement Experience: Demonstrated experience in procurement, preferably within a kitchen or foodservice environment
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers, team members, and senior management
