Job Overview

This role is part of our Department of the Premier, where we strive for excellence in public service. As Assistant Director: Appointments and Compensation, you will be responsible for overseeing a team that facilitates efficient and effective appointment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Managing and supervising staff in the appointments and compensation department;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals;
  • Providing guidance and support to staff members to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as human resources or business administration;
  • Proven experience in staff management and supervision, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams;
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those related to employment and compensation.
