At HR Genie, we are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of Group IT, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations: Manage the IT Systems Administrator, MS365 Administrator, and Infrastructure & Support team to ensure efficient delivery of IT services.
  • Support: Manage ticket allocation, support escalations, and ensure timely resolution to meet business needs.
  • Infrastructure: Ensure systems are properly administered according to agreed standards and procedures.
  • Service Providers: Manage SLAs of service providers and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Reporting: Provide routine system operations reports and recommendations to GITO.
Security:

The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining a secure IT environment, ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems.

  • Maintenance of Secure IT Environment: Ensure security policies and procedures are implemented, maintained, and enforced.
  • Conduct Research and Provide Recommendations: Conduct research and provide recommendations to GITO to ensure security is maintained or improved.
Budget and Financial Controls:

The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting with compiling budgets, monitoring and controlling costs, and reporting on actual vs budgeted costs.

  • Assist with Compiling Budgets: Obtain management approval and sign-off before implementation.
  • Strict Monitoring and Control: Monitor and control budgets and costs of all service providers, internal functions, and support services.
HR:

The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for performing all performance evaluations of subordinates, identifying needs for recruiting, training, and coaching, and implementing agreed personal development plans.

  • Perform All Performance Evaluations: Perform all performance evaluations of subordinates.
  • Identify Needs for Recruiting, Training & Coaching: Identify needs for recruiting, training, and coaching of employees and communicate job expectations and provide input to GITO.
