About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Academic Programme Director to lead our Advanced Certificate In Management Studies programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the programme, ensuring its success and excellence.
Key Responsibilities: This role involves a range of duties focused on guaranteeing the programme's success and excellence, while also providing support for the academic and professional development of students and the school. The responsibilities include:
- Providing efficient direction and oversight for the programme
- Leading a team of academics and administrative staff
- Developing and implementing programme strategies and plans
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners
- Ensuring quality control of programme information available on website and prospectus
- Facilitating webinars and induction of academic staff
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree specialising in Business Management or within the cognate area of Management studies (NQF Level 9). You should also have minimum 3 years' experience in higher education/academic and demonstrate high-quality academic knowledge. Additionally, you should have leadership and decision-making skills, as well as experience in managing programmes and teams.
