- Manage Compensation and Benefits: Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentives, and benefits enrolment, oversee payroll processing for accuracy
- HR Reporting: Prepare reports and analyse key HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, training, and performance, provide data-driven insights and recommendations for decision-making
- Industrial Relations (IR): Manage disputes between employees and the employer, ensuring swift resolution, represent the organization at CCMA hearings when necessary
- Visas: Ensure expatriate staff have correct visas and assist with the application process, develop a monitoring system to track visa status and ensure timely renewals
- Employment Equity and BBBEE: Ensure compliance with the Employment Equity Act and develop a strategy for BBBEE compliance to present to the executive team
- HR Intranet Development: Review and enhance the HR section of the company intranet, including internal job postings and newsfeed protocols
