Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Officer - Payroll to manage AtripleA's payroll submissions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee payroll submissions and maintain the payroll process.

- Monitor compliance to accounting policies and internal controls.

- Support internal and external audits processes.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll financial areas.

- Review payment reports prepared by the payroll team.

- Ensure accuracy and compliance of journals, payments, and reconciliations through quality assurance reviews.

- Verify payroll reports received and distributed accordingly.

- Manage leave on the payroll system.

- Distribute monthly payroll reports with the HR manager, CEO, and CFO before payment is made.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to POPIA guidelines.

Responsibilities:

- Balance payroll journal for submission to Finance.

- Calculate and process leave provisions.

- Calculate and process bonus provisions.

- Review and process fuel card allocations and spend (with feedback to Finance and Payroll).

- Allocate payroll deductions to the General Ledger (Income statement, Balance sheet, or staff debtor accounts).

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations monthly for payroll-related GL accounts.

- Prepare 3rd party payments and ensure payments are allocated accordingly.

- File PAYE returns on e-filing and EMP201s as required.

- Balance and reconcile the salary bank account monthly.

- Prepare payroll figures for the yearly budget.

- Analyze payroll actuals vs budget monthly.
