Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Compliance Procedures and Manuals: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance procedures and manuals to ensure that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain an Internal Control Framework: Design and implement an effective internal control framework to ensure that our business operations are controlled and monitored.
  • Maintain KI/Representative Register: Ensure that our KI/representative register is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct regular compliance audits to identify and mitigate potential risks and ensure that our business operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and Maintain Internal Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure that compliance requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Identify and Investigate Compliance Breaches: Identify and investigate potential compliance breaches, and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, or related field.
  • Postgraduate/Honours (Risk or Compliance Management): Advantageous.
  • FSCA Category 1 Compliance Officer: Required.
Experience:
  • Min. 3 years compliance experience: Required.
