As an Armed Response Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our business communities and their customers by patrolling designated areas on a motorbike. This critical role requires a valid motorbike driver's license and a strong understanding of the area.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Responding quickly and appropriately to client emergency calls
  • Maintaining visibility at standoff points and during area patrols
  • Handling client complaints efficiently
  • Ensuring adherence to the disciplinary code
  • Conducting thorough checks of premises to ensure client safety
  • Providing a high standard of service at all times
  • Staying up-to-date with expert knowledge related to your position
  • Attending meetings and training sessions as required
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
  • Assisting with any problems or complaints that may arise
  • Submitting comprehensive reports and feedback as requested
  • Completing daily, weekly, and checklists
  • Standing off at delegated places during peak hours
  • Helping residents by advising on possible security risks
  • Following up with clients after incidents and offering assistance
  • Providing public relations services and introducing new clients

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum Psira Grade C (Renewed)
  • Grade 11/12
  • Valid Motorbike Driver's License
  • Residency in the surrounding areas of Strand, Somerset West and Stellenbosch
  • Firearm Competency – Handgun, Shotgun and Carbine Rifle (Business Purpose)
  • Armed Response Certificate
  • Statement of Results for firearms training received (SASSETA/PFTC)
  • Experience working as an Armed Response Officer
  • Candidates must be prepared to undergo Fitness and Firearm proficiency assessments
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Neat and Presentable
  • No Criminal Record

**Estimated Salary:** R250,000 - R300,000 per annum
