Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program, working closely with regulators to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory affairs, utilizing your expertise to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to the identification and evaluation of policies and processes within our Quality Management System.
  • Manage a portfolio of audit assignments, planning and delivering audits to address identified risk areas.
  • Identify areas for improvement in our compliance processes, systems, and procedures, and develop strategies for implementation.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of our organization's policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes.
  • Communicate the local action plan and motivate employees to achieve business goals.
  • Assist the Risk and Compliance Manager in various management responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a related field, such as law or compliance.
  • Admission as an attorney or advocate.
  • 3-5 years of corporate compliance experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience within an insurance or financial institution.
  • Registered as a Compliance Officer with the FSCA.
  • FSCA Regulatory Exam (RE1) is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to supervise and direct people and resources to achieve specific results within limited timeframes.
