Indigo Brands, a leading manufacturer and distributor of global brands, seeks an experienced Brand Manager to join its team in Cape Town. As a key member of the marketing department, you will be responsible for creating and implementing annual brand plans that drive sales and profitability objectives.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Brand Manager role and a strong understanding of product development. They will be able to construct and implement brand plans and marketing strategies, analyze and interpret financials, and possess working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. SAP experience is also highly desirable.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with well-known brands such as Yardley, Gorgeous, Lace, English Blazer, Lenthéric, Hoity Toity, Solo, and Masculin. You will be responsible for managing advertising and promotion expenditure, prioritizing A&P spend between brands, and monitoring brand health and corrective action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement brand plans to achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Manage Advertising and Promotion (A&P) expenditure to drive sales and brand image
  • Prioritize A&P spend between brands to drive sales and brand profitability
  • Monitor brand health and take corrective action
  • Analyze and interpret financials

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a Brand Manager role
  • Strong understanding of product development
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret financials
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • SAP experience
