At Allan Gray Proprietary Limited, we are dedicated to empowering our clients on their investment journey. As a permanent role suitable for recent graduates with less than 2 years of work experience, the Investment Service Consultant position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are highly performance driven and seek new challenges.

Our Client Service Centre plays a vital role in our service offering for clients and independent financial advisers. In this role, you will build clients' and advisers' trust and confidence through providing world-class service. You will gain in-depth knowledge of our range of products and develop the necessary skills to confidently communicate with and educate our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to investors, potential investors and independent financial advisers via various servicing channels, including inbound calls and emails, face-to-face interactions.
  • Foster trust and confidence by explaining our investment philosophy and long-term approach to investing.
  • Educate clients by sharing product and fund knowledge, empowering them to make informed investment decisions.
  • Take ownership of transactions from start to finish, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Contribute to the organisation's drive towards continuous improvement by proposing solutions to client problems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • This role requires a growth mindset, resilience, and adaptability to navigate the ever-changing needs of clients and the financial services industry.
  • A genuine passion for people, commitment to service excellence, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for building long-term relationships with our clients.
  • The ability to deal with complexity in a high-pressure environment, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability are crucial to ensure we always do what is best for clients.
  • A bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Science majoring in Finance, Investments, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.
