Job Title: Service Director
Location: Our offices are based in the local area, and you will be expected to travel extensively throughout the region.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Operations Manager to join our team at Unique Personnel Ltd. As Service Director, you will play a key role in driving the success of our business by leading a team of technicians and ensuring that they have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
As a seasoned professional with a strong background in field operations, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, developing and implementing effective strategies to improve service delivery, and maintaining accurate records of training, attendance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, including conducting regular reviews with technicians and providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Manage a team of technicians, including planning and authorizing overtime, annual leave, and sick leave coverage.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on client premises to ensure that technicians are maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Analyze and use service reports to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as needed.
- Ensure that all customer complaints are resolved professionally and promptly, and that customers' satisfaction is achieved.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to field operations, including health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that all aspects of the business are aligned and working together effectively.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in field operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have:
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the service industry.
- Valid unendorsed Code 8/10 driver's license.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
