- Insurance Bordereaux and Collection Campaigns: Oversee the execution of insurance bordereaux and collection campaigns, maintaining a strong relationship with external stakeholders.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess in-depth knowledge of insurance sector regulations and the Companies Act, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and guidelines.
- External Audit and FSP Audit: Assist with management of the external audit and FSP audit for the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
- Reconciliation and Banking Administration: Perform reconciliation of general ledger control accounts, demonstrating a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
- Cash Planning and Transfer Scheduling: Develop and implement efficient cash planning strategies, scheduling transfers and payments to optimize liquidity.
- Qualifications: Matric certification and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting are required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years post-graduate experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with executive management, external stakeholders, and other departments within the organization.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to work in a highly pressurized environment, remain solution-focused, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and apply new software applications as needed.
