Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Healthcare Industry.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a mental health setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
  • Assess and monitor patient health and behavior, providing information to the healthcare team.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, promoting their physical and psychological well-being.
  • Manage and educate patients on medication and therapy interventions.
  • Support patients in processing therapy activities and daily schedules.
  • Aware of the Mental Healthcare Act No. 17 of 2002.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science with Psychiatry.
  • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Experience in a mental health environment or with mental health patients and conditions.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders.
