Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Claims Agent to join our team at The Recruitment Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Credit Risk Advisors: Collaborate with Credit Risk Advisors and their team to enhance customer cash flow and maximize returns through proactive debt recovery.
  • Managing Collection Matters: Manage and maintain collection matters for retainer and ad-hoc clients, including obtaining and assessing necessary documentation, loading matters onto M-Files, and maintaining updated statuses.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Produce monthly and ad hoc reports, comply with legal deadlines, and keep advisors and clients informed of progress.
  • Utilizing M-Files: Utilize M-Files for reminders, updates, correspondence, reports, assigning tasks, and tracking workflows.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with Credit Managers, keep them informed of progress, and ensure timely communication of meeting minutes and notes.
Requirements
  • An NQF qualification, diploma, or degree is advantageous.
  • One to three years' experience in debt collection or credit control.
  • Experience in a legal environment is advantageous.
  • Basic problem-solving skills, ability to handle pressure and conflict, resilience, strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and attention to detail.
