We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Milkor Integrated Systems.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

  • Audit Management: Conduct audits of processes, systems, and documentation to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Review and analyze data to monitor quality performance indicators (QPIs), such as defect rates, complaints, audit non-conformances, and non-conformance reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance processes, procedures, and best practices.

In addition, the Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist will participate in the development and review of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, test procedures, configuration management, and quality manuals. They will also investigate reports, complaints, and non-conformances to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quality assurance, engineering, science, or a related field. Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a regulated industry such as aviation, military, engineering, transport, tooling, or manufacturing, is essential.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quality assurance, engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and quality standards (ISO/SACAA regulations).
