Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SHE Officer - Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and sustaining operational requirements for occupational health and safety, environment, and security assurance within our region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in risk management and safety expertise to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

About the Role
  • IDentify and assess site or regional risks and support mitigation initiatives
  • Provide input into development of plans that deliver SHEQ Resilience Status for the group
  • Assist in design of detailed Business Continuity Management Plan for Dis-Chem sites
  • Support implementation of business strategy and plans for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Security, and wellness
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 or Senior Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree in Safety Management
  • 3-5 years experience in safety in retail environment
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office

You should also possess physical fitness, ability to travel, and a valid driver's license.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from R450,000 to R650,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
