Job Title: Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Signa Opportunity.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychosocial support to individuals struggling with drug addiction. This will involve conducting initial assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and working closely with clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Focused health project administration.
  • Maintaining efficient patient service documents and records in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulations.
  • Dictating health reports, letters, and healthcare data capturing.
  • Maintaining practice and department directories, as well as diary and appointment management.
  • Answering incoming calls and ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice.
  • Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Working as a first responder for all PWID/PWUD clients who visit the practice/clinic.
  • Working under the supervision of a Social Worker, Professional Nurse, and Dr.
Requirements:
  • Social Auxiliary Work qualification.
  • No prior participation in the YES Programme.
  • South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
  • Registered with the SACSSP.
  • A valid driver's license is advantageous but not compulsory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Telephone Skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer literacy and high attention to detail, with Microsoft Office skills in a fully digital environment.
  • Fluent in English and understanding of at least one other South African language (Sesotho or Zulu).
  • Well-presented and professional appearance.
  • Customer Focus.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of R150,000 - R200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
