**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Staff Solutions Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of accountants and bookkeepers, providing external services to clients with various businesses.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage a team of 4 to 8 junior accountants and bookkeepers, providing support and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
* Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager to monitor and support the team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services.
* Liaise with clients to troubleshoot processing issues, provide systems support, and make recommendations for system improvements.
* Coordinate the team's work, train team members, and recruit new team members as needed.
* Manage team performance, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and data processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with strict requirements.
* Provide accounting support and management, including monthly bookkeeping reviews, management account reviews, and journal adjustments.
* Reconcile accounts, manage accounting controls and systems, and provide customer support.
* Prepare management accounts, tax computations, and annual financial statements.
* Review and manage accounting IT systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and efficient.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree or equivalent.
* 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or managing a finance team.
* Proficiency in Xero, Sage, or other accounting software, as well as intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
**Working Conditions**
* The successful candidate will be required to work on-site during the initial training period (2 months).
* The working hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (2/3 days per week) and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (2/3 days per week).
* During peak season (October, November, January, and February), the working hours will be 50 hours per week, and during off-peak season (April to July), the working hours will be 35 hours per week.
* Hybrid working arrangements will be allowed after the initial training period.
