About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled individual to join our team as a Clinic Packer at the South African National Blood Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and ensuring that clinic supplies are adequately packed according to specific checklists, arranged for repair, replacement, routine validation, and maintenance as required.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Packing Supplies: Prepare controls and packs clinic supplies according to the size of the clinic and a specific checklist.
  2. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is packed in specific boxes or hampers and is clean and in good working order.
  3. Administrative Duties: Undertake administrative/clerical duties effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:

Overtime within prescribed limits and conditions, as well as shift work when required.

The incumbent will be required to be on their feet for lengthy periods, carry loads up to 14kg, assist with loading and off-loading vehicles, and climb stairs within reason.
