Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a basic salary as well as benefits such as medical aid, retirement funding and a performance-related bonus.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing approved asset-based finance transactions to both new and existing customers across various segments and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • To achieve Commercial Asset Finance (CAF) sales performance objectives by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and identifying business opportunities.">
  • To maintain post-sales relationships with customers while identifying further asset-based finance and retention opportunities in conjunction with Relationship Managers.">
  • To provide expert advice and guidance to customers on asset-based finance solutions and products.">
  • To work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, relationship managers and product specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of asset-based finance solutions.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A first degree qualification in a relevant field, such as business or commerce.">
  • At least 3-4 years' experience in business development, sales or account management within the vehicle and asset finance industry.">
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.">
  • Strong understanding of asset-based finance solutions and products, including commercial asset finance.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and motivation.">
