Logistics Stock Manager Job Description

RPO Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG company to find a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Stock Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Stock Level Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  2. Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate stock replenishment.
  3. Inventory Audits: Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  4. Data Analysis: Analyze stock data and provide insights and recommendations to optimize stock management processes.
  5. Process Improvement: Implement best practices in stock management to improve operational efficiency.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, warehousing, and production to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  7. Supplier Relationships: Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  8. Policy Development: Develop and maintain effective stock control policies and procedures.
  9. Inventory Management: Implement and utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor stock levels.
  10. Stock Flow Management: Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatching of stock to meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in stock management within the FMCG industry.
  • Skills: Experience with inventory management systems and software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in stock counts, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
