- Evaluate and improve existing risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the mining operation.
- Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for all employees, including induction training for new hires and refresher courses.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- National Diploma in Safety Management or related qualification.
- At least 8 years of experience within mining, specifically mineral processing industry.
- Professional Registration will be preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Mining Safety Act.
