Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team at SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Oversee the appointment of personnel, including reporting relationships and code of practice adherence.
  • Monitor communication groups, report progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, adhering to maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
  • HIRA certification.
  • Diploma or degree in Project Management is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in a managerial role is essential.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in production, heavy engineering, or mining environment.
  • Familiarity with ferrous and non-ferrous material processing.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is between R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
