Rigger - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking a talented Rigger to join their mining company located in the North-West region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of equipment and materials within the mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections and prepare rigging equipment for lifting operations.
- Coordinate with operators and ground crew to ensure lifts are executed safely.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols during rigging operations.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on rigging equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all rigging activities and equipment usage.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers.

Requirements

- Grade 12
- Rigger Trade Test Certificate.
- N3/N4 Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years' experience in the mining industry.
- Extensive Gold experience.
- Experience in underground and opencast mining.
