Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Tailings Engineer to join our team in Centurion or Sandton office.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and experience in tailings storage facilities and return water dams.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to new and existing projects, assisting senior engineers and project managers with surveillance and design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

About You
  • 4-7 years of experience in tailings engineering
  • B Eng or BSc Eng in Civil Engineering
  • Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with slope stability, seepage analysis and FEM software, such as Geostudio
  • Proficient in AutoCad Civil 3D or ModelMaker
