Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at AccorHotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and functional guidance to the Operations Leader, Partner, Executive Committee, and Department Heads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and implementation of business partnering culture
  • Development and management of key relationships with Management Committee members and senior managers
  • Review of financial performance, analysis of variances, forecasts, and budgets
  • Contribution to business decisions regarding revenue generation, company expenditure, and investment
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of corrective action plans on internal and external audit and operational reports
  • Development of business acumen of all levels of the Company Leadership team
  • Attendance and contribution to Weekly Revenue Meeting discussions
  • Promotion of GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept across departments

Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis:

  • Analysis and interpretation of financial data and communication of meaningful variations in operations
  • Preparation of monthly internal benchmarking and operational performance analysis reports
  • Development and implementation of benchmarking techniques to enhance revenues and improve productivity and cost efficiencies
  • Preparation of annual budget, capital budgets, and rolling forecast
  • Recommendation and implementation of methods and procedures to improve accuracy of working schedules, labor standards, forecasts, and plans

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensuring compliance with policies, Uniform Chart of Accounts, and Company management or other contractual arrangements
  • Compliance with all laws and fiscal regulations affecting financial matters of the Company
  • Protection of owners' and management company's interests in Company assets and operations
  • Safekeeping of all lease and contracts and other legal records and documents

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or related field
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proactive approach to financial management
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Languages:

  • English Language is Mandatory (both written and oral)
