Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, systems, instrumentation, utilities, and site facilities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Ensure compliance with general machinery regulations and implement energy management strategies to reduce consumption and costs.
  3. Oversee site security and cleaning operations, including outsourced services, to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  4. Lead engineering teams and develop a proactive maintenance and repair program in collaboration with operations teams to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and overall production efficiency.
  5. Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment on various engineering projects.
  6. Prepare cost estimates for projects and maintenance work, adhering to OEM standards for machinery.
  7. Monitor energy usage continuously to achieve energy consumption targets.
  8. Supervise outsourced security, cleaning, and gardening functions.
  9. Develop and update quarterly an Engineering Strategy outlining key focus areas.
  10. Document planned major maintenance and repairs interventions and projects, tracking progress against this plan.
  11. Establish clear short- and long-term action plans to address variances and achieve strategic business goals.
  12. Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, and environment legislation and audit requirements.
  13. Proactively manage team performance and dynamics to maintain a professional and high-performance work environment.
