Key Responsibilities- Provide product management insights across the product platform, focusing on product enhancements and competitive standing of the life investments portfolio in line with the business strategy.
- Set weekly rates and manage and review pricing on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate all new developments and enhancements with stakeholders, including Actuarial, Legal & Compliance, Client Services, IT & Sales.
- Provide ongoing support to the Sales and Marketing teams, including guiding the content and structure of marketing and other positioning material, providing product-specific training and guidance on position of solutions to the sales teams, engaging with corporate clients, and developing good relationships with business partners and regulatory authorities.
- Play an active role in project planning and business development for the retirement savings and discretionary endowment products.
- Research, track, and analyze local and international industry trends, competitors' performance for your product set.
- BSC or BCOM degree and good progress with the Actuarial examinations toward an Associate or higher qualification or CFA charter holder.
- Demonstrable track record of managing a product or service portfolio with responsibility for the key performance metrics.
- Good knowledge of Sanlam Life's investment and retirement savings products and the competitor landscape.
- Good understanding of the Actuarial, tax, and regulatory framework.
- Good knowledge of Sanlam Life's administration and reporting systems.
