Insurance Operations Coordinator

**Job Overview**
The Recruitment Council is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Operations Coordinator to join our team in Centurion. As an Insurance Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial lines business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Generate commercial business quotations based on adviser input.
- Verify accurate client information, including company details, registration numbers, and contact information.
- Prepare comprehensive quotation files, including application forms, comparison quotes, and required FAIS documents.
- Activate accepted quotations with chosen product providers and ensure seamless processing.
- Organize and distribute welcome packs with necessary policy documents to clients.
- Maintain accurate records in myPractice, including uploading all relevant documents.
- Handle daily underwriting requests and communicate updates promptly to advisers and providers.
- Manage the renewal process, including preparing renewal packs, negotiating terms, and updating policies.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial underwriting team once the first debit order is confirmed.
**Requirements:**
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience within the short-term insurance industry.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English, and at least one other official South African language.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- NQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification or currently studying towards completion.
- FSCA confirmation (DOFA) and successful completion of the RE 5 Examination.
