About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & South Asia Region. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling PCV products, spare parts, and services in greenfield and brownfield applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell PCV products, spare parts, and services to customers in the region.
  • Grow the PCV installed base through conversions, rebuild programs, winning site upgrades/expansions, and capital opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCV equipment and systems, including process/system knowledge, basic wear patterns, and process variable effects.
  • Convey product benefits and value propositions to customers.
  • Provide installation, start-up, and rebuild supervision and guidance to customers.
  • Work with customers to ensure inventory levels on site and at FLSmidth stocking centers are correct.
  • Collaborate with the PCV Site Support Engineer to maintain strong relationships with customers and site personnel.

Requirements

  • NHD, BSC or B-Eng in Engineering.
  • At least 8 years' experience in the mining & mineral processing industry.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the PCV product line.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a business development role with a proven track record.
  • Strong professional relationships with end users, EPCMs, and contractors.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of selection, sizing, and operating parameters.
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills – both external and internal.
