Industrial Mechanic

This exciting 12-month skills development opportunity is available for a qualified Millwright to join our team at Top Recruitment (Pty) Ltd. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to assist in installing and aligning new machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will use their knowledge of mechanical systems to assemble components according to blueprints and specifications. They will also perform initial testing to ensure proper functionality and conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues;
• Repairing or replacing faulty equipment parts under supervision;
• Monitoring machinery performance and identifying potential issues before they become major problems;
• Supporting preventive maintenance programs by cleaning, inspecting, and adjusting machines regularly;
• FOLLOWING SAFETY GUIDELINES AND USING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHEN WORKING WITH MACHINERY;

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

• A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics;
• A valid Millwright trade test;
• At least one year of experience in a similar role;
• Be a South African citizen;
• Be between the ages of 18 and 34;
• Must be currently unemployed;
• Be willing to complete the 12-month learnership;

The salary for this role is market-related, and you can expect to earn approximately R250,000 per annum. In addition to your salary, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
