We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team as part of a 12-month learnership program. This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals with a trade test in Millwright and at least one year's experience.
About the Role:
- Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and alignment of new machinery and equipment. You will also use various tools and techniques to assemble components according to blueprints and specifications.
You will perform initial testing to ensure proper functionality and conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems, such as lubricating parts, tightening bolts, and replacing worn components. Additionally, you will assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, repair or replace faulty equipment parts under supervision, and monitor machinery performance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Grade 12 (with Mathematics)
- Trade Test: Millwright trade test
- Experience: At least one year's experience
- Nationality: South African citizen
- Age: Between 18 and 34 years old
- Status: Currently unemployed
