Main function would be to assist the Stock Controller in all physical and administrative functions providing accurate feedback and paying close attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • 2-Year experience as an Assistant Stock Controller or similar role
  • 5-Year experience in a warehousing or logistics environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Excel
  • Valid Driver's Licence

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain an excel driven worksheet for all movement in and out of the warehouse
  • Allocation of bin locations to picking slips
  • Maintaining of picking locations in warehouse for easy access of stock
  • Daily cycle counts to be actioned and reconciled with ERP system
  • Conducting of stock takes as required by the company
  • Maintaining of stock conversions, offcuts and overcuts on ERP system
  • Maintaining of job cards, allocation of stock and updating of ERP system
  • Provides support to the sales team regarding all stock queries
  • Assist stores employees on the floor for all stock related queries
