H-E Parts is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in coordinating with other engineering disciplines for substation projects and tenders.
About the Role:
As an Engineering Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading project engineering activities, including the preparation and review of project deliverables, and coordinating with stakeholders. You will also be responsible for reviewing equipment specifications, BOQs, and supplier inquiries, as well as monitoring and coordinating supplier deliverables and resolving technical issues during FAT.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Leading project engineering activities, including the preparation and review of project deliverables.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for scheduled progress of projects and tenders.
- Reviewing equipment specifications and BOQs for supplier inquiries, technical offer reviews, and resolution of technical issues during FAT.
- Following engineering processes, change management, risk, and opportunities management during project execution and tendering.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge and expertise in Risk Management processes and HE Framework and Tool.
- Detailed domain expertise in one of the domains (either primary or secondary) is a must, with knowledge of other domains for effectively monitoring and supervising regular project engineering activities.
- Primary engineering of GIS and AIS substations, layouts, earthing, cabling, lightning protection, sizing calculations, BOQ estimation, RFQ, supplier offer verification, FAT, and MV systems.
