Job Summary

EnableSA (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team in Pinetown, Durban. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assist with various budgets, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Prepare monthly Operations Reports, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
  • Manage financial calculations, including management fees, dividends, and tax calculations.
  • Compile month-end Dreyersdal packs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze and process sundry Factory/Distribution cost monthly, identifying areas for cost reduction.
  • Update Waste, R/kg, tonnage, gainshare schedules monthly, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage Profit Estimate File, providing timely and accurate financial information.
  • Update and complete Distribution & African Closure Income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Capitalize and depreciate assets, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Calculate and reconcile HPs, updating monthly HP schedule.
  • Prepare and process journals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • BCom Accounting Degree.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' relevant work experience.
  • Advanced computer literacy, with expertise in Excel.
  • SAP experience or knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience working with month-end accounts is essential.
