Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Manager to join our dynamic team at Fempower Personnel. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective digital content strategies across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication Strategy & Implementation:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy to enhance our online presence and engage with target audiences.
    • Execute digital content strategies across multiple platforms (website, social media, email marketing).
    • Collaborate with regional communication teams to manage press relations, corporate events, exhibitions, and sponsorships.
    • Create internal and external digital content (blog posts, videos, infographics, social media posts).
    • Engage with various online communities to ensure consistent and effective communication.
    • Contribute to website design, updates, and content creation to ensure effective online presence.
    • Maintain corporate branding and ensure adherence to the organisation's identity.
    • Assist with compiling the annual NPS survey for the region.
    • Ensure timely delivery and distribution of the Masikulume newsletter.
  • Commercial Management:
    • Oversee relationships with service providers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Management & Coordination:
    • Promote digital communication initiatives throughout the region to foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
    • Serve as the go-to contact for digital communication-related projects and provide support to departments in implementing their digital communication strategies.
    • Facilitate regional communication meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance our online presence and engage with target audiences.
    • Manage email and LinkedIn campaigns to promote our services and build brand awareness.
    • Boost LinkedIn presence by managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
    • Plan and oversee email marketing campaigns to drive leads and conversions.
  • Public Relations:
    • Cultivate relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to secure press coverage and build our reputation.
    • Develop and monitor an annual plan for press releases and media kits to ensure consistent and effective communication.
    • Organize press conferences and media events to showcase our expertise and thought leadership.
    • Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communications to protect our reputation.
    • Identify opportunities for positive media coverage to enhance our brand image.
  • Internal & External Communications:
    • Design and execute both internal and external digital communication strategies to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communication channels.
    • Produce and edit digital content for websites, blogs, newsletters, etc. to engage and inform our target audiences.
    • Collaborate with departments to gather and share important information to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
    • Prepare speeches, presentations, and talking points for company leaders to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
    • Manage the company's reputation and brand image to ensure consistency and credibility.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist sites with their digital communication planning and execution to ensure seamless implementation and coordination.
    • Implement internal digital communication strategies and plans to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
    • Manage digital communication activities within the allocated budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Ensure that the Group's digital communication policies are followed to ensure compliance and consistency.
    • Guarantee the alignment of internal and external digital communications with the organisation's strategy and values.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the department manager to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Critical Competencies:
  • Adhere to ISO standards to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all business and employee information to ensure trust and integrity.
  • Proficient in necessary computer functions to ensure efficient use of technology.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 plus a post-matric qualification in Communications (or equivalent) to ensure a strong foundation in communication principles and practices.
  • At least 5 years of experience in communications / marketing, including digital content creation and management, to ensure a deep understanding of digital content strategies and tactics.
  • Management Experience - Minimum Services industry 5 years to ensure a strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
  • Language Requirement - English first language or must have excellent proficiency to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven experience in digital content creation and management with examples of successful digital content campaigns.
  • Strong writing and communication skills to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented to ensure effective project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent networking abilities to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Quick thinker and adaptable to changing situations to ensure effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Media-savvy, with an understanding of how to frame a story from a journalist's perspective to ensure effective media relations.
  • Photography and video production skills are a plus to enhance our visual content and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience with online media databases and content management systems to ensure efficient use of technology.
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of web design, SEO, and content management to ensure effective online presence and stakeholder engagement.
  • Competence in relevant software and digital tools used by the company to ensure efficient use of technology.
