Job Description

The Social Media Specialist plays a vital role in planning and implementing compelling social media content that drives brand engagement towards the attainment of brand and commercial goals. This involves managing and growing online communities to provide insights to the business, resulting in increased brand value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the business to produce content plans that drive engagement, utilize channels effectively, and achieve business objectives.
  2. Create engaging and persuasive copy, applying brand guidelines and ensuring accurate language and tone across all social media channels.
  3. Respond to comments, queries, and complaints from the community, escalating when necessary.
  4. Evaluate the quality of social media content continuously.
  5. Cover live events, including travel when required.
Analyzing Reporting for Continuous Improvement
  1. Collect data and report on key metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of social media efforts.
  2. Research digital and social media trends, platforms, developments, and best practices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate digital and social media efforts with overall business strategies.
  4. Provide regular reporting that generates meaningful, actionable insights.
