Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join their client's team in Bloemfontein. As a Construction Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in supervising construction crews, assigning tasks, and providing guidance. They will also be able to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Supervise construction crew, assign tasks, and provide guidance
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment
  • Manage construction resources, including materials and equipment
  • Resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during construction
  • Ensure quality standards are met and perform quality inspections
  • Prepare reports and updates for project managers and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar role
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Familiarity with construction safety regulations and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification in construction management or a related field is a plus
