The Building Company is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to lead its accounting and financial activities.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analysing economic stability and providing financial information to enable informed decision-making across departments.

  1. Group Trial Balance: Prepare monthly consolidated group trial balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  2. Monthly Management Reporting: Develop and deliver timely management packs to facilitate strategic planning and resource allocation.
  3. Quarterly Financials: Produce quarterly accounting and tax packs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Year-End Preparation: Coordinate year-end accounting and tax pack preparation, guaranteeing seamless transitions and financial closure.
  5. Annual Financials: Prepare annual financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries, showcasing financial performance and stability.

Requirements:

  • Maturity in financial management, preferably with a BCom degree
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
