We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Associates to join our team at Outsource Retail in Somerset West/Paardevlei.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales and customer service to work in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, recommending suitable products to customers and advising on purchases.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by promoting products, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring a smooth checkout process.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and stock management activities, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and rotating stock.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and inclusive store culture.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a retail sales or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • A strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to drive sales growth and meet targets.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
  • A reliable mode of transportation to travel to and from work.
