Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Officer to join our team at Future Africa Consulting (Pty)Ltd. As the Assistant to the Head of Accounting and Controlling, you will provide executive support and take the lead in day-to-day office administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Head of Accounting and Controlling's diary to optimize time usage
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional image
  • Plan and organize travel, including detailed itineraries
  • Coordinate workshops, both on-site and off-site, with detailed agendas
  • Prepare presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Liaise with internal and external service providers
  • Organize and support meetings
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including raising purchase orders
  • Track project deliverables and milestones
  • Define and update project management processes, standards, and governance
  • Ensure project plans and documentation are complete and up-to-date
Requirements
  • Strong administrative experience in a professional environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage a high volume of work
  • Confident individual with excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Self-motivated with good attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to support colleagues
