Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan, oversee, and manage project outcomes to ensure customer satisfaction from order receipt to final delivery.
- Supervise the contributions of team members and external vendors.
- Facilitate the integration or delivery of project outputs directly to clients or in support of large-scale enterprise initiatives.
You will report to the Manager of Project Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Additional education in business administration or operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is essential.
Experience Requirements:
- Industry-specific knowledge is essential.
- Familiarity with MS Project and the complete suite of MS Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software, process automation, or application engineering roles.
- At least 3 years of documented project management experience is required.
- Experience in contract management is a plus.

Functional Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of business team strategies.
- Execute all aspects of project management responsibilities.
- Ensure project execution aligns with financial targets.
- Manage resource allocation and financial elements of projects.
- Apply advanced project management techniques as needed.
Management Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams on complex assignments.
- Mentor junior engineers involved in projects.
- Coordinate activities with support teams and other departments.
- Drive internal project process improvements.
Interpersonal Responsibilities:
- Schedule resources to align with project plans.
- Negotiate and prepare change orders with clients.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients for assigned projects.
- Foster an environment conducive to effective team collaboration.
Business Responsibilities:
- Represent Rockwell Automation for assigned projects.
- Assume full accountability for project outcomes, managing projects up to 1 M€ and a portfolio of up to 20 projects.
- Oversee subcontract management as needed.
- Ensure project timelines, margins, and customer satisfaction are met.
- Build strategic partnerships with key client management.
- Lead efforts to develop commercial strategies for complex systems.
- Adhere to all relevant corporate and regulatory procedures.
- Complete projects to the quality standards required by the business and industry.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and files.
- Collaborate with internal proposal teams to create competitive proposals.
- Hold primary responsibility for the profitability of managed projects.
- Manage all aspects of project partnerships.
