Job Title: Contract Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely renewals? Do you have a solid understanding of RFQ and tender processes, contracts, and purchase orders? We're looking for a skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Datafin Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Renewals: Prepare and issue accurate support renewal quotes to customers with a minimum of 90 days before expiration.
  • Oversee the process until activation while handling customer queries and internal queries.
  • Manage contracts: Ensure contracts sold are activated and quality checks are completed.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns regarding renewals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support renewal and contract activities.
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors to secure renewal agreements.
Requirements:
  • Essential:
    • Matric or Grade 12.
    • 5 years experience in a similar role in the IT industry.
    • Understanding of RFQ and tender processes.
    • Good understanding of contracts, purchase orders, and billing.
    • Experience working on Vendor tools/portals.
    • Understand enterprise infrastructure products and be willing to learn and understand basic technical aspects of the products.
  • Advantageous:
    • 2-Year IT Diploma or equivalent.
    • ITIL Awareness.
    • Experience with HPE.

  • Very high attention to detail and accuracy with multitasking a key requirement for success in this role.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Effective use of customer information, sales resources, and database to maximize productivity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under constant pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-managed and be able to work independently.
  • Work in structured and organized fashion to achieve goals.
