Financial Clerk for Automotive Sector

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to work with our client in the Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in General Data Capturing, Book balancing, and preparing sundry invoices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Data Capturing and entry into the system
- Balance the books and prepare financial statements
- Prepare and send sundry invoices to clients
- Follow up on age analysis and ensure prompt payment
- Monitor daily cash flow and make necessary adjustments
- Process General Ledger entries and reconcile statements
- Daily Bank Reconciliation and Cash Book processing
- Petty Cash Management and Control
- Process and reconcile monthly Creditors accounts
- Loading payments and processing supplier invoices
- Raising orders and processing same
- Completing VAT returns and ensuring compliance
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors
- Perform general administrative duties as required
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar Bookkeeping role in the Automotive Industry
- Suitable tertiary education or Bookkeeping qualification
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, communication, conflict management, problem solving, attention to detail, time management, and accuracy
- Essential experience in the Automotive Industry
- Trustworthy, honest, and reliable individual
