Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist to manage work streams, report on product portfolios, and establish regulatory priorities. You will be responsible for reviewing regulatory agency submissions, co-ordinating new product applications, and developing regulatory strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage work streams and report on product portfolios
  • Establish regulatory priorities and allocate resources
  • Review regulatory agency submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Co-ordinate new product applications and develop regulatory strategies
  • Develop and maintain databases, trackers, and systems for regulatory activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Diploma in Pharmacy and Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
  • +/- 5 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in human medicines, including complementary medicines and medical devices
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines for complementary medicines
  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
