Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Helderberg Personnel cc. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing cost data for facility condition assessments, taking-off quantities for construction cost estimates and bills of quantities, and reporting on construction costs.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior quantity surveyor to develop their skills and experience in the field. You will work closely with our experienced professionals to gain knowledge and expertise in quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage cost data for facility condition assessments;
  • Take-off quantities for construction cost estimates and bills of quantities;
  • Report on construction costs;
  • Assist with other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Some experience with WinQS and DimensionX (or CostX) software.

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will be required to work from our office location and may be required to travel to site visits.
