At PATH, we are seeking a seasoned Transformational Business Solutions Strategist to lead our efforts in developing and implementing business solutions that drive strategic coherence and alignment across our enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of complex systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to design scalable and robust architectures.

About the Role

This position involves collaborating with our IT team, business system owners, and business process owners to understand and translate business requirements and challenges into technical solutions. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a small team of business systems analysts, project team members, and other colleagues on coordinating, delivering business systems analysis services, and applying best practices and PATH standards on business process and systems improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of business systems analysts and project team members to deliver business systems analysis services and apply best practices and PATH standards.
  • Collaborate with business owners to define, document, and analyze business requirements using various tools and methods, including working sessions, business case development, scope definition, and high-level and detailed business requirement documentation.
  • Contribute to and/or manage Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) and related solution selection processes.
  • Evaluate third-party products and facilitate user-experience prototyping to validate requirements.
  • Coordinate, configure, present, and participate in business and technical reviews of requirements deliverables, prototypes, trial evaluations, and application pre-releases.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree in business, information technology, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years of experience in business and systems investigation, evaluation, analysis, implementation, and enhancements. Experience managing a team is required, with experience managing a globally dispersed team being highly preferred. You should also have proficiency in understanding and modeling complex systems, recognizing patterns, and designing scalable and robust architectures.

A strong grasp of technologies and platforms, including cloud services, enterprise software, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies like AI, is essential. Familiarity with various software designs, languages, and architecture is also necessary. A good understanding of business processes and strong analytical skills to analyze business needs to align technology solutions with business goals is crucial. Business analysis, change management, and/or project management certification or designation is desired.

You should be able to successfully lead and juggle multiple projects and priorities, including large projects. Strong focus on customer service and end-user experience, balancing needs with economy, efficiency, and pragmatic solutions is required. Strong process management and project management skills complemented with strong knowledge of Microsoft and related tools and platforms are also necessary.
